SOCIAL CONDITIONS
1. POPULATION AND LABOR FORCE
The province’s average population in 2020 accounts for 593,644 people. Average population density is 176.1 people/km2, but unevenly distributes, concentrated mainly in the coastal plain area. In Ninh Thuan, there are 3 principal nationalities - the Kinhs account for 75.6%, the Chams for 13%, the Raglays for 11%; and other ethnic groups.

The population in labor age in 2020 is of 346,800 people accounting for 58.4% provincial population; The rate of trained labor force is of 60.17%. presenty. Labor structure in agriculture, forestry, aquaculture accounts for 29% industry and construction accounts for 34%, and 37% of services.
This quite rich labor force is expected to meet the labor demand for investment projects in the province.

2. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
In 2020 there are 306 schools of all levels with 4,020 classrooms, amongst there are 136 primaty schools/2,148 classrooms, 62 secondary schools/766 classrooms; 21 highschools/331 classrooms, 114 national standard schools (52.1%), 87 nursery schools with 1,030 classrooms. The system of general education, as well as boarding schools, has been set up in all districts and city. There are also various training schools such as Ho Chi Minh city Agriculture and Forestry University Branch, Political school, Irrigation University - DH2, Provincial Vocational College; Application and Science Training Institute in the Central coastal area, Centers of vocational education and continuing education in districts, city. These training institutions are in charge of promoting the professional level and working skill of laborers.

3. PUBLIC HEALTH
There are 241 health care facilities, 84 of which is state-owned. Provinces and districts have 1,730 beds with the ratio of 29.2 beds/10,000 people. At the provincial level, there are 07 facilities with 1,280 beds. In all districts and communes, there are 76 facilities with 775 beds (including 65 medical stations in communes with 325 beds). There are a total of 1,898 doctors and nurses. The province has invested in upgrading the provincial General Hospital to class I with the scale of 1,000 beds, hospitals in Thuan Bac and Thuan Nam districts with the scale of 100 beds; upgrading Ninh Phuoc District Hospital, Ninh Son District Hospital and general clinics; merging and setting up other medical facilities such as Traditional Medicine Hospital and Disease Control Center.
